| Description | The Department of Ecology invites you to comment on documents for the Treoil Industries cleanup site located at 4242 Aldergrove Road in unincorporated Whatcom County. The site is located northwest of Ferndale and south of Blaine, approximately two miles east of the Strait of Georgia and four miles northwest of the Lummi Indian Reservation. The following documents are available: Remedial Investigation that details the types and locations of contamination at the site; Feasibility Study that explains the different cleanup methods, called alternatives, including Ecology’s preferred cleanup alternative; and a Public Participation Plan that describes how Ecology will inform the community about the site activities and ways to become involved. | ||||
